When one of our favorite distributors called to see if we would like to host a tasting of 00 (pronounced Double Zero) Wines with Chris and Kathryn Hermann, the owners of 00 Wines, we were an easy YES. David has known the Hermanns for more than a decade, and they make fantastic wine, so we are thrilled to host them for an incredible tasting of Oregon Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, plus a treat from Burgundy. We love the 00 wines because they are so textural and complex on the palate. They remind us of why we love Burgundy, while offering a distinct point of view of the terroirs of Oregon.
A note for all of you Chardonnay haters out there: these are not gloppy, buttery California chards, they are gorgeous wines showcasing power and elegance. They may just change your mind about Chardonnay.
This is one of only two tastings of 00 Wines in Maine, and the only one on the Midcoast. These wines are rarely open to taste, so please join us for this very special opportunity, plus you’ll get to hear all sorts of behind the scenes stories from the Hermanns.

Koosah Chardonnay 2023 - from magnum $180 (750ml) $375 (1.5L)

Clearly, these are not everyday drinkers for most of us, which makes it all the more fun to enjoy them side by side with the winery owners. It’s short notice, but don’t miss this very special tasting!
The event will be a seated tasting guided by Katheryn and Chris Herman. We'll enjoy the above wines and light snacks.
The tasting will begin at 5:30 and should finish up around 7:30pm on Thursday July 30th.
Tickets are $65 per person.
